About the Role
We are representing a leading organisation in the oil and gas industry, specialising in major projects, and currently seeking a skilled Cost Controller to support a high-profile project based in Paris, France. This role is being advertised on behalf of our client, a prominent player in the sector.

Start: Late April
Duration: 12 Months + extensions 

Overview of the role:
  • Monitor project costs across engineering, procurement, and construction phases
  • Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow analyses, and variance reports
  • Track commitments, invoices, and accruals to ensure financial accuracy
  • Support reporting for offshore, fabrication, and subsea scopes
  • Ensure compliance with project controls and financial procedures
  • Provide cost insights to project teams and senior management
Required experience and skills:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost control within the oil & gas sector
  • Experience with large-scale offshore/EPC projects
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP or similar systems
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus
