Interested in a Grid Connections Manager role with a major renewables platform?
My client is a European energy business scaling rapidly across Germany, with a growing portfolio spanning utility-scale solar, battery storage, energy trading, and industrial decarbonisation. As part of this expansion, they’re looking to hire a Grid Connections Manager to support and gradually take ownership of grid feasibility and connection strategy from the earliest stages of development.
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with 2–3 years of directly relevant grid connections experience who’s ready to step into a role with real responsibility, mentorship around them, and a clear pathway to grow as the platform expands. You’ll get exposure to projects at meaningful scale and learn how grid strategy ties into development priorities, commercial decision-making, and investment outcomes.
The focus is on finding someone who already understands the practical realities of working with German grid operator including portals, processes, timelines, required studies, and technical connection conditions - and who can develop into a key internal go-to person. With support from a wider project/development team, you’ll help translate grid constraints into clear, commercially informed recommendations around risk, schedule, and cost, and build the confidence to lead these workstreams end-to-end over time.
