About the Role
We are working with a leading energy trading company that operates at the forefront of the low-carbon energy sector, specializing in gas, LNG, and power markets. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking a highly skilled US Natural Gas Analyst to join their Houston-based team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide in-depth analysis of the U.S. gas market, supporting trading strategies and market decision-making through advanced modeling and quantitative techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain models analyzing U.S. gas prices, supply, demand, storage, and weather factors.
  • Collaborate with IT and data scientists to automate data processes and expand analytics.
  • Monitor pipeline flows and regional market dynamics.
  • Provide market insights, forecasts, and trading recommendations.
  • Support cross-commodity and cross-geography analytics.
  • Produce reports and presentations for global teams and external partners.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in an analytical or quantitative role.
  • Knowledge of U.S. gas fundamentals and experience with supply and demand modeling
  • Strong programming skills (SQL, R, Python) and data-visualization experience.
  • US citizens or greencard holders
