We are working with a leading energy trading company that operates at the forefront of the low-carbon energy sector, specializing in gas, LNG, and power markets. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking a highly skilled US Natural Gas Analyst to join their Houston-based team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide in-depth analysis of the U.S. gas market, supporting trading strategies and market decision-making through advanced modeling and quantitative techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain models analyzing U.S. gas prices, supply, demand, storage, and weather factors.
- Collaborate with IT and data scientists to automate data processes and expand analytics.
- Monitor pipeline flows and regional market dynamics.
- Provide market insights, forecasts, and trading recommendations.
- Support cross-commodity and cross-geography analytics.
- Produce reports and presentations for global teams and external partners.
- Bachelorβs degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- 1β3 yearsβ experience in an analytical or quantitative role.
- Knowledge of U.S. gas fundamentals and experience with supply and demand modeling
- Strong programming skills (SQL, R, Python) and data-visualization experience.
- US citizens or greencard holders
- Competitive salary of $140,000-$170,000 per year.
