Project Developer - BESS (m/f/d)

My client is an IPP focused on battery storage and grid connection infrastructure.
They’re not just a typical developer, they combine strong technical and financial backing. They’re closely linked to a specialist grid connections company that a lot of developers rely on.
They’re also backed by leading advisory and investment firms, so you’ve got both advisory and investment capabilities in-house, focused on co-development and co-investment in renewable projects. A global investment group focused on the energy transition is also a shareholder, providing strong financial backing and long-term strategic support behind the platform.

They focus on BESS and grid infrastructure, which is a key bottleneck in scaling renewables right now. 


Project Developer BESS

Responsibilities:

• Take projects once land is secured and drive them all the way through to the ready-to-build stage. 
• Managing permits, coordinating technical and environmental studies, handling stakeholders, and making sure everything is structured properly for financing. 
• End-to-end ownership role across the development phase. 
• Identifying new opportunities, exploring new markets, and helping shape how the company grows.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in engineering, energy
• 3–6 years of experience in complex project development
• Strong knowledge of administrative and environmental processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Professional proficiency in English, Fluent French is a MUST
