Project Manager – Energy Infrastructure

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-growth energy infrastructure business entering an important phase of expansion across North America. This is more than a project delivery position; it is an opportunity to join a business at a genuine growth stage. With ambitious expansion plans, increasing project activity and the backing required to scale, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the organisation grows. You will have genuine visibility with senior leadership, influence how projects are delivered and the potential to develop alongside the wider business.
 
With significant investment behind its growth strategy and an expanding pipeline of complex energy projects, the business is looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Project Manager. This is an opportunity to join at a key stage of the company's development and play a meaningful role in building its project delivery capability. The role will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion, working closely with engineering, procurement, construction partners, clients and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially successfully.

The Role

  • Lead projects through planning, execution, construction and close-ou
  • Own project budgets, schedules, scope, contracts and change management
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, suppliers and external stakeholders
  • Oversee construction activities and ensure delivery against agreed quality, safety and commercial objectives
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with clients and project partners
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear progress reporting to senior leadership
  • Contribute to improving project delivery processes as the business continues to scale
Ideal Background
  • 5+ years' Project Management experience
  • Strong construction management and contract management experience
  • Background within EPC, construction, infrastructure, engineering or energy
  • Proven experience managing contractors/subcontractors and complex projects
  • Strong commercial, organisational and stakeholder management skills
