About the Role
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity on behalf of a forward thinking energy technology company dedicated to transforming the global energy storage landscape. This organisation is committed to creating a sustainable, renewable powered future through innovative grid scale storage solutions.

We are seeking a Commercial Structuring Manager to lead complex customer deals from initial qualification to signing. You will be responsible for structuring bankable, risk-aligned commercial terms and managing cross-functional deal processes, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement of deal templates and offerings.

Overview of the role:
  • Own commercial structuring for complex deals (e.g., tolling contracts, route-to-market service agreements), from qualified lead and term sheet drafting to LFA signing
  • Lead cross-functional deal execution, ensuring critical inputs and back-to-back alignment of Finance/Risk, Legal, Product, and technical stakeholders land on time
  • Establish execution discipline in deal-making (timeline management, decision logs, open points tracking), so the deal owner can focus on steering the commercial process
  • Create and continuously improve repeatable offering structures, templates and playbooks covering the majority of recurring deal types
  • Ensure alignment of new and existing service supplier contracts with our commercial offerings
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Lead and execute complex, multi stakeholder transactions, including commercial negotiation and financial structuring
  • Structure and manage long term tolling agreements (typically 5-7 years)
  • Drive deal execution with a hands on approach, contributing to the origination and closing of new transactions
  • Partner with asset developers to onboard and integrate new opportunities onto the platform
  • Develop and implement commodity risk frameworks and pricing methodologies
  • Apply strong understanding of legal frameworks, contract structures and credit risk in all transactions
  • Contribute to complex infrastructure and energy related agreements
  • Proven cross functional stakeholder management (Sales, Finance/Risk, Legal, Tech, Assets) and ability to work with external advisors when needed
  • Work fluently across German and English in a professional environment
Location:
  • Berlin, Germany
If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for energy innovation and a track record in complex deal structuring, we encourage you to apply and be part of shaping a sustainable energy future.
