Commissioning Engineer (Data Centres)
Location: Multiple EU locations
Type: Full-time, contract based roles 
 
About the Role
 
We are hiring Commissioning Engineers to deliver mission-critical data centre projects across Europe. You will be responsible for commissioning, testing, and validating MEP systems to ensure performance, resilience, and uptime from installation through to handover.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Deliver commissioning across data centre projects (Level 1–5, IST)
  • Test and validate critical MEP systems, including:
    • Generators, UPS, MV/LV distribution, switchgear
    • Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers)
    • BMS/EPMS/DCIM
    • Fire detection & suppression (VESDA, gas systems)
  • Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and failover scenarios
  • Review drawings, specs, and commissioning plans
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client teams
  • Produce commissioning reports and support handover (O&M, SOPs/MOPs/EOPs)
 
Requirements
 
  • Experience in data centre or mission-critical commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and control systems
  • Understanding of redundancy (N, N+1, 2N)
  • Experience across full project lifecycle
  • Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • EU passport (mandatory)
