Construction Manager (On-Site) — NYC Metro

My client has won multiple local projects and is expanding the project execution team — they are looking for an on-site Construction Manager to lead delivery across the NYC area. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing execution team at a business in growth mode, with real project momentum and a strong local pipeline

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction from mobilization through close-out, ensuring alignment to design, client requirements, codes, and safety standards
• Drive schedule coordination across subcontractors and suppliers; track progress and support daily/weekly/monthly reporting
• Own quality control (inspections, NCRs, materials receiving reports) and manage RFIs across contractors/suppliers/customers
• Support commissioning coordination and maintain strong on-site relationships with all stakeholders
• Lead site HSSE execution: toolbox talks, JHAs, safety briefings, and documentation

Desired Background:

• 5+ years in on-site construction management
• Experience in energy / utility-related construction strongly preferred
• Proven ability managing scope, budget, schedule, permitting
• Valid driver’s license + personal vehicle (travel between sites)
• Degree preferred - Construction Management, Civil or similar
