This exciting opportunity is open on behalf of a client seeking a skilled Oil Market Analyst to join their dynamic trading team.

Role Overview:

• Analyse and interpret diverse market data, reports, and intelligence to deliver actionable insights supporting trading operations.
• Develop and refine supply and demand models using fundamental analysis, statistical, and data science tools.
• Communicate complex analyses effectively through verbal and written reports.
• Support ad-hoc tasks, including market trends, arbitrage insights, and competitor analyses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years’ experience in energy trading, market analysis, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Power BI, PowerApps), SQL, and Python.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data management, automation, and visualisation.
• Business acumen, strong organisational skills, and a keen interest in the commodity trading sector.
• Knowledge of global crude oil markets and fundamental modelling.
