About the Role
Our client, a major integrated oil company in London, are looking to hire an experienced Crude Operator.
The Crude Operator is responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of crude oil physical trades, including shipping logistics, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role ensures timely and efficient delivery of cargoes while minimizing exposure to operational and financial risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of crude oil cargo movements (FOB/CIF/Delivered) from loading to discharge.
- Liaise with traders, ship owners, terminals, inspectors, agents, and counterparties to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor vessel schedules and manage any operational issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support trading team with post-deal execution and provide operational insights where required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in crude oil operations or shipping.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, Incoterms, and trade documentation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
