As industrial decarbonization accelerates across Europe, long-duration energy storage is emerging as a key enabler for reducing reliance on fossil fuels in energy-intensive industries. My client has an advanced energy technology platform that is being deployed to provide reliable, high-temperature heat and flexible power solutions, supporting sectors such as steel, cement, chemicals, and refining in their transition toward more sustainable operations. They have recieved strong funding and are expanding their commercial and technology operations in Europe.Â
They are looking to hire a Senior Manager/Director Project Engineering to:
🔹 Strong technical expertise in the design, operation and installation of heat transfer equipment — heat exchangers, furnaces, boilers, reactors, chillers — and a deep understanding of system integration and plant operations
🔹 Industrial plant exposure — commissioning, start-up, and site execution in sectors such as chemical, refinery, steel, cement, food, EPC or OEM environments
🔹 Background in process, chemical, thermal, or mechanical engineering
🔹 A track record of managing, hiring, and building teams
🔹 The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
🔹 Spain-based, covering the broader European market
🔹 Fluent speaker in English and SpanishÂ

- Build and grow a European project engineering team
- Start as a key individual contributor with a clear leadership trajectory
