Full Stack Developer - Java/React - London - Hybrid - Commodities Trading

We’re seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Risk Technology team in London. This hybrid role offers the chance to work at the intersection of advanced engineering and global commodities trading.

You should have strong experience in API-first development, advanced Java skills, and solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React. Exposure to Value-at-Risk models or commodities is a plus but not essential. Most important is your ability to learn quickly, solve complex challenges, and communicate effectively across teams.

In this role, you’ll design and deliver new functionality for market-risk systems, optimize existing components, build user-friendly web interfaces, and contribute to automation and support across the Risk technology stack.

• Advanced Java programming

• Legacy codebase experience
• Linux & shell scripting
• SQL & RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
