Overview
An established provider of pipeline inspection and integrity solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its inline inspection (ILI), pigging, and ultrasonic testing (UT) service lines. This role focuses on developing and expanding relationships with midstream operators, identifying new project opportunities, and delivering tailored inspection solutions that support asset integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting midstream pipeline operators and related customers.
  • Promote a portfolio of ILI, pigging, and UT inspection solutions, aligning offerings with client integrity management programs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across engineering, integrity, and operations teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including pipeline inspection campaigns, integrity assessments, and recurring service contracts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience selling ILI, pigging, or UT/NDT solutions within the oil & gas sector.
  • Strong network within midstream operators, including integrity, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, technical sales opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of pipeline integrity management, inspection technologies, and industry standards.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a broader commercial team.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
