Investment Analyst - Energy Transition Investor

Pangea is partnered with a global asset manager who are actively looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join its Renewables / Energy Transition team in Zurich. This role offers exposure to platform investments across the full deal lifecycle and ongoing portfolio value creation, across Europe and APAC, offering an excellent opportunity for a junior investment professional who wants to build long-term expertise in international investing, working closely with management teams.

THE ROLE

• Support investment management activities across the Renewables platform
• Assist with the execution of investments and transactions from origination through signing/closing and beyond
• Financial modelling & valuation: build, maintain and take ownership of project/corporate models
• Portfolio management: monitor portfolio companies and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (advisers, management teams, counterparties) to drive transactions and portfolio initiatives forward
• Prepare and coordinate Investment Committee materials
• Support origination, screening and evaluation of new investment opportunities

THE CANDIDATE

• Strong passion for the energy transition, with a solid understanding of renewable technologies and market dynamics
• 1.5–3 years’ experience in M&A, financing, investment management or advisory, ideally within energy and/or infrastructure
• Excellent analytical skills and financial modelling capability; strong corporate finance fundamentals
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
