Pangea are partnered with a leading global investment platform focused on digital infrastructure who are looking to hire an experienced and motivated Investment Associate into it's London office. This role sits within lean deal teams, offering exceptional exposure across the full investment lifecycle: origination support, execution, portfolio monitoring, follow-on investments and exits. As an Associate, you’ll work closely with senior investment professionals and external stakeholders to evaluate and execute new investments and support value creation across the portfolio.
THE ROLE
Build and own detailed financial models (operating forecasts, returns analysis, sensitivities)
Approach opportunities with an investor mindset—identify value drivers, risks, and key diligence questions
Analyse complex datasets and synthesize findings into clear investment papers / materials
Support transaction execution: due diligence coordination, advisor management, and workstream ownership
Regular interaction with investors, lenders, advisors, and senior management teams at target and portfolio companies
Assist with evaluation of follow-on transactions and exit opportunities
THE CANDIDATE
Strong academic track record
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or similar relevant investing environment
Preference for backgrounds in M&A, leveraged finance, and/or financial sponsors within the digital, energy, industrials or infrastructure sectors
Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability
High attention to detail, strong presentation skills, and professional maturity/integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-motivated, ambitious, confident yet humble
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
