Land Acquisition Manager – PV and BESS (m/f/d)

Our client is a modern, utility-scale renewable energy developer focused on large ground-mounted solar PV and large-scale battery storage projects. Backed by one of Europe’s leading infrastructure investors, the company operates with a hands-on, data-driven approach and a strong German development pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new project sites for utility-scale PV and large-scale battery storage projects
• Identify suitable, grid-connected sites through independent research and a strong partner network
• Build and maintain direct relationships with landowners, including site visits and lease negotiations
• Conduct initial site assessments covering technical suitability, grid access and permitting potential in coordination with internal teams

Requirements

• Proven experience in site acquisition, ideally within ground-mounted PV, wind, BESS or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of renewable energy project development, including grid applications and permitting processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Fluent German and good English, with residence in or near Aachen and willingness to travel occasionally
