Legal Counsel - M&A

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel- M&A Attorney to join the legal team of a prestigious and heavily-backed renewable energy platform, focusing on energy sector transactions and project development.

Role Overview:

• Lead negotiations, legal diligence, and execution of M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector.
• Draft, review, and negotiate development agreements related to solar, storage, and energy services.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, and project teams to support project development.
• Manage regulatory compliance, including community solar programmes and energy regulations.
• Support governance activities and oversee diligence processes.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant legal experience, ideally in M&A, power sector transactions, or commercial real estate.
• Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B degree with good standing in a US state bar.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
