Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

Position: Mechanical Quality Control Inspector
Duration: 2 year Fixed-Term Contract 
Location: Saarland, Germany


YOUR Mission:

• Inspections of tanks, pipes, mechanical components and systems such as fittings, valves, pumps, compressors during assembly on the construction site in Saarland.
• Production controls on steel and welded structures such as pipelines, pipe bridges, hall structures.
• Monitoring of functional and performance tests, pressure tests, visual inspections, component measurements, weld seam inspection, coating process.

 
YOUR SKILLS:

• Studies in the field of engineering, specializing in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or similar, or a qualification as a technician or master craftsman.
• Relevant professional experience in quality assurance in the metalworking industry.
• Ideally with knowledge in the areas of pipe construction, plant engineering, lifting equipment, materials engineering, and non-destructive testing. 
• Ideally, you would have additional qualifications in welding technology (SFI, IWT, SFM) or corrosion protection (FROSIO, ZTV-ING). 
• Must speak German and English.
• Willingness to travel and driver's license.
• High degree of self-organization and structured working methods.
