ERCOT Retail Pricing Analyst

We are partnering with a US Power and Gas trading merchant that are growing/building their Retail part of the business and looking for a Power Retail Pricing Analyst to work closely with the originator on new deals.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the traders and originator who is responsible for bringing in new deals.
• You will be responsible for the analysis, pricing and valuation of the deals (entire life cycle). You will primarily support Retail (power) part of the business, but will still support wholesale.
• Once a new customer has joined, you will review the customers' historical usage data and create own forecasts (access to vendor data) to estimate pricing. Furthermore, evaluate how assumptions compares to estimation and keep valuation.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as Retail Pricing Analyst (strong Retail knowledge is a must)
• Preferably ERCOT experience
• Analytical / programming skills (Python, VBA, Tableau)
• The firm is unable to sponsor or transfer visa's 

Location: Houston TX (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
