My client is hiring a Construction Manager in the NYC area (Queens preferred) to support our expanding portfolio of distributed energy projects. This growth-driven role is ideal for experienced on-site construction professionals ready to lead the construction activities for the implementation of various distributed energy resource projects. The position reports to the VP Project Management and has the potential to become a leadership role in the future.
This is a field-based role centred around New York City, with a strong focus on Queens and surrounding boroughs. Candidates must be within commuting distance — this position requires daily on-site presence at active project locations.
You’ll oversee every phase of construction — from planning through commissioning — ensuring projects meet design, safety, and quality standards while coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.

- Lead construction activities for cutting-edge clean energy projects.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and schedules.
- Oversee safety, quality control, and compliance.
- Support project reporting and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- 5+ years of on-site construction management experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, permitting, and coordination.
- Experience with distributed energy technologies is a major plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
