I’m currently working with a leading provider of critical digital infrastructure, who specialize within the Datacentre industry and are looking for a Commissioning Manager to support across their projects in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall commissioning plan, working with design, construction, and client teams to align expectations and deliverables.
- Oversee and manage all commissioning phases (L1–L5), including planning, documentation, scheduling, and execution.
- Lead commissioning meetings and workshops with stakeholders (GC, MEP contractors, OEMs, client reps, Cx agents).
- Ensure MEP and mission-critical systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS, fire detection, UPS, gensets, CRACs) are fully tested, integrated, and function as designed.
- Ensure timely production and review of commissioning documentation: pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, O&M manuals, redline drawings, and final sign-off sheets.
- Track and resolve all commissioning-related issues, RFIs, and punch items through to closure.
- Lead black start testing, IST (Integrated Systems Testing), and final client demonstrations.
- Collaborate with QA/QC, safety, and operations teams to align commissioning with health and safety requirements and future operations.
- Report progress, issues, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management and client.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of commissioning management experience on datacentres
- Proven track record managing the full commissioning life cycle on projects with complex MEP systems.
- Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems – UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, BMS/EMS.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
