Software Engineer

London | £70,000–£85,000 per year |Hybrid (3 days in office)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a leading asset management technology team, driving innovation through transformative, data‑driven, and scalable solutions. Operating at the intersection of technology and business, this role will enable smarter decision‑making, streamline operations, and deliver efficiencies that power growth across global markets.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and implement solutions across the full software development lifecycle
• Partner with Real Assets engineering teams on transformative projects shaping the future of Asset Management and Private Markets
• Collaborate closely with digital and front‑office teams, solution design, and architecture experts
• Contribute to the stability, security, and scalability of core systems
• Work hands‑on with Python, Postgres, MongoDB, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and explore low‑code platforms such as Unqork

Essential Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful and FAST API services
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Unqork or similar low‑code solutions is a plus
• Desirable: Familiarity with front‑end frameworks such as React to support UI development
