Lead Structuring Analyst (Power and Gas)

We are partnering with a prominent Energy firm who are looking for a Structurer (Power & Gas).

Day to day?

• You will be the focal point for all deals that come to the desk (i.e. HRCO, load, toll, generation, battery) partnering directly with traders, originators and counter parties. Both Power and Gas but mostly Power deals.
• You will leverage existing models, libraries and data (Python, C++) for the most accurate pricing and valuations of new deals, as well as support complex queries and requests.

Requirements?

• 1-5 years of Power & Gas Structuring or Pricing Analytics experience. 
• Quantitative or mathematics background preferred but not a ‘must have’ as there are strong Quants (PhD in Math) to partner with.
• Looking for candidates who understand pricing, structuring and power/gas fundamentals.
• Options knowledge and pricing experience

Selling points?

• This is a cross-market role (not limited to ERCOT or CAISO), supporting all originators across regions with pricing, structuring, and transaction support.
•  The position requires close collaboration with origination and quants who are industry experts, and access to the full trade floor for insights and coordination.
• Role is critical due to recent team growth—Origination expanded from 2 to 4 members (now covering ERCOT, CAISO, and others), increasing demand for support and deal flow has increased.
