Project Coordinator

A leading organization specializing in mission-critical infrastructure and data centre solutions is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and manage high-stakes projects with a focus on generators and power systems. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in data centre or mission-critical environments, ensuring the seamless coordination of complex power and backup systems integral to data centre operations.

Role Overview:

• Manage project documentation, vendor coordination, and delivery of generator and power system installations for mission-critical data centre projects
• Ensure project scope includes specifications for generator capacity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to track progress, schedules, and quality assurance related to power and backup systems
• Liaise with stakeholders to mitigate risks, manage project scope changes, and maintain strict adherence to deadlines
• Support project closeout, including documentation of generator performance and compliance testing

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in managing data centre or mission-critical projects, particularly involving generator systems and backup power solutions
• Strong understanding of power distribution, generator technology, and UPS systems within data centre environments
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate technical documentation, vendor schedules, and project milestones
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical and management teams
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NFPA, local regulations) related to power systems for mission-critical facilities
