About the Role
I’m currently working  with a leading provider of critical digital infrastructure, who specialize within the Datacentre industry and are looking for Electrical Site Managers to support across their projects in the Netherlands.
 
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-9 Months

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the on-site execution of all electrical works, including LV/HV distribution, UPS systems, generators, fire alarm, lighting, security systems, and BMS integration.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams to ensure work is completed to the required standard and programme.
  • Monitor progress against the electrical construction schedule and report regularly to project leadership.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate installation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes, including overseeing permit-to-work systems, isolations, and energizations.
  • Support the commissioning team during energization and integrated systems testing (IST), ensuring all electrical systems are pre-checked, tested, and documented.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts including inspections, snagging, and ensuring red-line drawings are maintained.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC, HSE, and other disciplines to ensure smooth integration across trades.
  • Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and storage for electrical plant and components.
  • Attend and contribute to coordination meetings with design teams, consultants, and the client.
 
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Electrical Engineering degree or time-served trade background with relevant certifications.
  • 4+ years of electrical site management experience, with recent experience on data centres or other mission-critical projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure – UPS, switchgear, busbar, generator systems, containment, etc.
  • Familiar with data centre commissioning phases (Level 1–5) and IST preparation.
  • Solid understanding o health and safety practices and ability to understand national standards.
